Person lets cat inside during a rainstorm, looks away for one meowment, and suddenly, the cat gives birth to 6 tiny kittens: 'TWO more kittens. There are four now. Can we PLEASE stop at four? I did not sign up for this'

Sigh, this story is proof that people never learn. We keep telling people: feed a stray cat once, and it will never leave you alone again. It will know you. It will appreciate you. It will follow you everywhere until you feed it again. And eventually, it will end up living in your house. That's how it goes. Show a stray cat kindness, and you have a more than likely chance of getting adopted by it. We've said it before, and we keep saying it, but people don't learn.

And this person clearly did not listen to us. You think letting a cat shelter from the rain in your home is going to be just that? It's never just that. Although we do have to admit that even we, people who know all of this and accept it, would have been surprised by what happened to this person. One second, you're doing a nice thing for a stray cat, the next second, you are watching the miracle of life play out in your bedroom - six times in a row. Now, that is a stormy night to remember.

It really does start this simply. You, a decent human, want to do a kind thing for a cat, and the cat… immediately senses potential. Kitty probably wouldn't have come in if she didn't need the help. It most likely wasn't her first rainy night in the world. But she needed it, and you - unknowingly - offered it.

From the sound of it, this is not a person who is very experienced with cats. But we know that the CDS doesn't discriminate. Cats choose people who have potential, not necessarily experience, and there is something absolutely hilarious about watching someone so befuddled by this happening to them.
